Cancellation Policy

SECTION 1: CUSTOM ORDER CANCELLATIONS

For all customized racking structures, bespoke shelving arrays, mezzanine floors, and custom-painted components, cancellations are not permitted once production begins or raw steel/materials are procured.

Once these custom processing windows are crossed, UAE Shelving is not responsible, the order cannot be cancelled, and all deposits and advance payments are completely forfeited to cover manufacturing and material costs.

SECTION 2: STANDARD ITEM CANCELLATIONS AND FEES

Cancellations of standard stock items (if approved in writing by UAE Shelving before loading or dispatch) are subject to a cancellation fee of up to 15% of the order value to cover processing and material allocation.

If standard items have already been loaded onto trucks or dispatched from our factory, the cancellation window is closed. The order must be treated as a standard return, subject to restocking fees and two-way transport charges.

SECTION 3: SITE READINESS AND POSTPONEMENTS

We value a smooth, long-term B2B relationship, which is why we coordinate installation schedules in advance. The client is responsible for preparing a cleared, safe, and accessible site with available power.

• If an installation project is cancelled or postponed by the client less than 48 hours before the scheduled mobilization date, mobilization/demobilization charges and scheduling fees will be applied.
• If on-site installation is delayed due to site unreadiness, missing power supply, or lack of local permissions, the client will be billed for idle labor hours and storage/retention fees for the materials held on-site.

SECTION 4: CANCELLATION BY UAE SHELVING

UAE Shelving reserves the right to cancel or suspend any order or project under the following circumstances:

• Technical surveys reveal that the client's concrete slab or floor capacity cannot safely support the racking loads.
• Progress payments, deposits, or milestones are not cleared according to the agreed contract terms.
• External Force Majeure events (strikes, material shortages, supply chain issues, or government mandates) make project execution impossible.

If a project is cancelled by UAE Shelving due to structural safety concerns or non-payment, the client remains responsible for payment for all materials already manufactured, allocated, or delivered up to the cancellation date.
